Carissa has been knitting and crocheting since she was old enough to hold the tools. Her fondest memories are of her grandmother teaching her the crochet ripple afghan pattern. There are at least 50 of those afghans out there that she made for gifts during her teen years!

As her skills grew, she realized the benefit of excellent finishing work. During her years as a yarn store owner, she noticed many customers didn’t have the knowledge, expertise or patience to satisfactorily finish their projects. Properly weaving an end to prevent unraveling, matching stitches along an invisible seam, and fearlessly washing and blocking were only the beginning. 

Today, Carissa’s passion for detail has turned hundreds of customers’ projects into stunning works of art. Her professional finishing services transform “homemade” into “handmade”. Each project, regardless of size, is given dedicated attention and care.
